TUITION POLICY 2011-2012

 

Tuition payments made be made either in full before July 1, 2011, or over 10 monthly payments through the FACTS Management Company from July 2011 through April 2012.  Please note that tuition payments for Pre-K are made from June 2011 through March 2012.

 

Tuition for Kindergarten-Grade 8:           First Payment due 7/1/11

                                              One Child:          $4990             

                                       Two Children:           $9040

                                    Three Children:           $10,860

 

Tuition for Pre-K for 3-year olds:              First Payment due 6/1/11

5 day a week program

Registration Fee Due February 18, 2011:                     
                                  Returning Families:  $100
                     After 2/18/11 fee increases:  $125
                                          Kindergarten:   $300

                                           New Families:  $125

 

Book and Supply Fee:
$250 per child -This fee includes religion textbooks and
consumable workbooks not covered by NY State money. It also covers the cost of paper, ITBS testing, and the electronic report cards. This fee is due by April 1, 2011, and is non-refundable.

Special Subject Fee: 
$175 per child -This fee covers art supplies, gym equipment, computer maintenance and software. This fee is due by April 1, 2011, and is non-refundable.
 

Fundraising Fee:      
$250 per family -This helps to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual per pupil cost to educate your child.  If a family chooses to include this fee with your tuition costs, you may indicate on the tuition contract, and the $250 fee will be included in your monthly or single tuition payment. Otherwise this fee is due no later than May 1, 2012, through your family fund-raising efforts.

 

Policy for Withdrawal:
If at any time, for any reason, a family withdraws a child from the school, the family will be required to pay the tuition for that month plus one additional month since the school’s operational costs begin prior to the first month of school.

Kindergarten:
It seems that some students register for kindergarten and then receive a placement in public schools and leave.  This creates a difficulty for us since your places are saved and other students are turned away.  In order for us to know you are committed to Pompeii, we are having Kindergarten students place a  $300 Registration non-refundable fee.  $200 will be deducted from December's tuition.
